Getting Started
Welcome to Fundalyze — a platform for performing structured fundamental analysis on publicly traded companies. This guide walks you through everything you need to get started.
Create Your Account
Sign up with your email, Google, or Apple account. Once registered, complete your profile by adding your name and selecting your experience level. Your level helps us suggest the right analysis template when you start your first analysis.
Your First Analysis
Navigate to the dashboard and click “New Analysis”. Search for a company by name or ticker, select an analysis template (we recommend Beginner for your first time), and you're ready to go. Each step guides you through a specific area of fundamental analysis with structured fields to fill in.
Navigating the Platform
The sidebar menu on the left gives you quick access to the main sections: Dashboard, Browse Companies, Analyze, Portfolio, Community, and Market Briefing. Hover over it to expand the full labels. The dashboard is your home base — it shows your drafts, recent analyses, favorites, and quick actions.
Browse and Discover Companies
Use the Browse Companies page to explore stocks by sector and market cap. Click any company to view its quote page with key data. Favorite companies by clicking the heart icon — they'll appear in your watchlist for easy access.
Manage Your Portfolio
The Portfolio section houses your completed analyses, in-progress drafts, and watchlist. From here you can resume drafts, review past analyses, and manage your favorite stocks. Use the drafts page to keep track of everything you're working on.
Connect with Friends
Add friends from the Community section to share analyses and discuss investment ideas. Send a friend request by username, and once accepted you'll be able to see each other's shared work.
Customize Your Settings
Head to Settings to personalize your experience. Change your theme (light or dark), preferred currency, number format, language, and timezone. Set up notification preferences and manage your account details from the Account page.
